What is a "Try Scuba"? - The Try Scuba session listed before each class start date is a free session designed to allow a potential student the opportunity to try diving before signing up for a class. A Try Scuba is absolutely free and Aquatech schedules a Try Scuba one week before the beginning of each of our Standard Classes. There is no need to register before attending a Try Scuba Session; just show up on the listed date and time with a swimsuit and a towel. All minors must be chaperoned by a parent or guardian in order for us to obtain written permission before allowing the minor to participate in the Try Scuba Session. A Try Scuba is NOT part of the actual class. A Aquatech Instructor will be on-hand to explain the dive gear, help you get into the gear and into the water (shallow end ONLY) and answer any questions you may have regarding scuba or the upcoming class.
